Doris Alice Delery Reppen, 90, a native of Donaldsonville and a resident of Natchitoches, La., passed away on September 28, 2017. Doris was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and friend to many. She especially loved to bake and cook for her family. Her family meant everything to her. She is survived by two children, Mary Elizabeth Reppen McGinnis and husband, Louis McGinnis and Barbara Ann Reppen Jackson and husband Andy; two step-sons, Gregory Michael Reppen and Duane Marc Reppen; one sister, Mildred Delery Dumasneil ; six grandchildren, Michaelyn Claire McGinnis, Elaina Alyce Jackson, Elizabeth Eileen...

Doris Alice Delery Reppen, 90, a native of Donaldsonville and a resident of Natchitoches, La., passed away on September 28, 2017. Doris was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and friend to many. She especially loved to bake and cook for her family. Her family meant everything to her. She is survived by two children, Mary Elizabeth Reppen McGinnis and husband, Louis McGinnis and Barbara Ann Reppen Jackson and husband Andy; two step-sons, Gregory Michael Reppen and Duane Marc Reppen; one sister, Mildred Delery Dumasneil ; six grandchildren, Michaelyn Claire McGinnis, Elaina Alyce Jackson, Elizabeth Eileen Jackson, Anna Kathleen Jackson, Step-grandchildren, Duane Reppen, Jr., and Laura Reppen; two nieces, Wanda Dumasneil Kraemer and family and Hollie Delery Lilley and family; one nephew, Charles Ulger "Chuck" Delery, III and family. Preceded in death by his parents, Bertha Cire and Charles Ulger Delery; two sisters, Lorraine "Cookie" Delery, and Leona Marie Delery; and one brother, Charles Ulger Delery, Jr. The pallbearers will be Andy Jackson, Chuck Delery, Josh Delery, Cody Sibille, Ronald Kraemer, Louis McGinnis, and Mickey Kraemer. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Christopher Ingram, Dr. Mary Long, Dr. Warren Botnick and the staff of the Nachitoches Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 3-6 pm. A visitation will resume before services at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 8:30 until the Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville, LA.
